Paul Mitchell Schools Raise $1M for Charity: Results Announced at 2022 Gala Event
October 2022 – Each year, participating students (aka “Future Professionals”) and team members from the 100+ independently owned and operated franchise cosmetology and/or barbering schools operating under the Paul Mitchell brand spend the months of August through October voluntarily “FUNraising” for national and local charities. This year’s campaign raised over $1 million, bringing their 19-year total to $24 million. |

October 2021 – After a year and a half of COVID-related school closures and few opportunities to connect and serve others, Future Professionals and team members from participating Paul Mitchell Schools jumped at the chance to give in 2021. From August 1 to October 12, the annual FUNraising campaign raised over $1.3 million, bringing the Paul Mitchell School network's 18-year total to over $23 million. |

May 2020 – The 2020 campaign came to a screeching halt when the coronavirus pandemic struck. Schools had just reached the midway point when the nation shut down and quarantine began. After only five weeks and thousands of creative “FUNraising events,” the Paul Mitchell School network raised over $852,000 to benefit nine national charities and dozens of local nonprofits, bringing their 17-year total to over $22 million. |

MAY 2011 - At their biannual Summit, Paul Mitchell school owners raised $106,250 for No Limits, the country's only theater group for deaf and hard-of-hearing children. Appearing at the Summit on behalf of No Limits, deaf comedian and motivational speaker Kathy Buckley showed a clip from the wildly popular TV show "Glee," in which No Limits alumnus John Autry II performs a solo of John Lennon's "Imagine." As the clip ended, the real-life John Autry joined Kathy on stage and performed the song again. |
